These two little guys are 12 days old and are going strong.  I was afraid I was going to confuse them, and I did a fair amount, but they are not identical so I did ok.  I had expected them to sleep the whole time but they just were not ready for a nap so we worked with them.  Here is a sample of what we got.

Ava

This week I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph a friend of mine’s newest addition.  Baby Ava was welcomed into this family just before Christmas.  She joins older siblings, Will, Ella, and Jude.  They came over to have a little fun in the studio and Ava did great!  She was awake for the first half, then got comfortable and took a little nap for me.  I just love sleeping baby pictures!

Holiday Orders

Hurry, get your orders in!  The deadline to ensure you get your photos before Christmas is noon on December 8th.  That’s this coming MONDAY!  Orders placed after that time are not guaranteed to be in before Christmas, and most likely will not be in until mid January.

More Cousins

Let’s see if I can get this right…Matthew, Madison, Landon, Brandon, Brittany, and Braden.  (I’m SURE I didn’t spell all those right.)  These six cousins are, like most kids their age, full of energy.  You’ve never worked at photography until you’ve tried to get this manny kids together and happy all at the same time.  (Even just getting my two together can be a challenge.)  It was a fun challenge though.  I have photographed half of these children before and their mom gave me the opportunity to see them again and spend some more time trying to capture thier cute faces.  These kids, like Emma in the last post, had to put up with the cold.  Most of us here in central Texas aren’t used to the cold, but these kids managed it well.  They were even talking about getting ice cream when they left.  I hope they got it!

Over the weekend I had several fun shoots.  This was one of them.  Too bad this weekend was the coldest of the season.  Poor Emma was freezing, but she was tough.  She even tolerated a few wardrobe changes.

Last weekend I got to spend a little time with this family.  They are friends of ours from church, and their little guys are a lot of fun.  Gabriel and Jonah (my boys) were itching to get up out of the stroller to play with them.  Thanks guys for being so fun and easy!
