Sofia

I just love that I know so many people having babies!  Yesterday my friend Kristle came over and I got to photograph her adorable children with their newest addition — Sofia.  Big sister Alicia, and big brother Tav were easy and fun to work with.  It was great to see their little personalities as they interact with their baby sister.

I’m so glad they live close by and were able to come by for a little while for me to capture their cuteness

Abigail

Last week I got to go into Abigail’s home and photograph her in her own little world.  She is such a dainty little thing!  I look forward to watching her grow and change (and photographing her more!)

Ansley

I know I haven’t been posting much lately and there is a reason for that.  I haven’t been doing much lately (other than growing a baby and raising three busy boys.)  Yesterday though, I got to photography my niece Ansley.  She was quite possibly the perfect client (and not just because she’s related to me and looks a bit like me too).  She smiled when I wanted her to, played when I wanted her to, and didn’t crawl away too fast.  It was nothing like my attempts at photographing my own children which always makes me crazy.  It also helps that I look enough like her mom that she will usually smile at me.

I also got a few shots of my Liam today.  He is 9 months old an I can’t believe it.  Isn’t he handsome?

Nathaniel

I know it’s been a while since I have posted anything but I can assure you that even if my photography has not been busy, life has. Now that I’m out of the first trimester though hopefully I’ll have more energy for photo shoots!
My friend Tara came over today for a photo shoot with her newest addition, Nathaniel. He is only two weeks old. Have I mentioned how much I love photographing brand new babies? Well, two weeks ago when he was born I had the pleasure of meeting him in the hospital and getting a few shots of him there as well.

I met this little guy shortly after the move to Roswell.  He has already changed so much in his short life!

I always love watching parents interact with their babies, especially the first child.  This family was no exception. Here are just a couple of the shots we got yesterday during our shoot.

I have been taking it easy since the move (3 months ago) but am slowly getting into the swing of things here.  Life is definitely different now that we’re in NM and we have 3 kids.  But life is good.

Last weekend I got to go out to California to meet my newest niece, Ansley.  She is wonderful.  I hated to get on the plane and leave both her and my sister.  Before I left though I snapped a few pictures of them.
